It's such a nice thing to have friends all over the world. But I find that I haven't got an idea of how to keep in touch with them.In real life out of web, friends should be close to each otehr. However, how do you manage it on the web?Have you got any ideas to share? Is it easy to find common points with your friends so you can communicate freely?

I have friends on mylot now but I have never sent a message to any on of them and also no one did to me. When I log on mylot the first thing I do is check the answers to my discussion and the next step is to see the list of discussions my friends started and I answer those that interest me. I think responding to their discussions is a good way to keep in touch with them. Take care megannica and welcome to mylot.

In real life you are not likely to have 321 friends and if you did you'd find it very difficult to do your friendships justice. In effect they are likely not to be friendships but acquaintances. It depends on how much time and effort you want to put into cultivating friendships here on myLot. And like any friendship you need to give back what you take out. So to start with perhaps get 2 or 3 and for a week or so stay in touch with their posts, they will reciprocate by replying to your posts. Then when you build a relationship, you get to know them more personally. Scout around and see who you can find that you like and want to stay in touch with.
I have several closer friends here and am sure I will meet them one day in the real world.
