Have you seen the cover of the last installment of Harry Potter? 1 cover for Scholastic and 2 for Bloomsbury (1 for children edition and 1 adult edition). I find the Scholastic cover plain and lacking in details.. unlike the 'Half Blood Prince' cover where readers and fanatics are mystified, you know what I mean? Or is it just me? I just love the book 6 cover. The Bloomsbury adult edition is more of a Sydney-Sheldon-Cover... (black background, an old locket in the center where a green serpant is engraved) very nice! don't you think so?

It's look nice ;) But yeah, I agree with you about the cover of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, looks more mystified and interesting. I can't wait for the 7th book to come out. I actually have a copy which was sent to me by my friend through e-mail. It's only 1 plus mb, don't know where he got it, hehe.

Gosh!!! Is it reliable? I got a copy as well of the HBP on an e-book, in pdf format, but that was after the release date of the book. Never heard of a copy being circulated before the release date.

Hi Palace_Girl & welcome to MyLot! I hadn't realised the new cover was out yet. I'll definately go check out the differences. I've enjoyed them all so far. I listened to the first 4 on audio cassette then read the last two. I'm looking forward to getting a copy of the final year too.
I've never noticed that there were different versions though. Is it just the covers that are different because Scholastic books are in the schools?

I definately like this cover better. Sorry I wasn't able to leave a comment on the photo, but I did give it a + rating. :)

Gee, thanks! Just the covers. I think Bloomsbury is the official British publisher of J.K. Rowling or something like that and they published 2 edition for children and adult. Check out this site www.mugglenet.com/books/futurebooks/book7/index.shtml
