This topic was discussed in so many times now!
Here are some of the ideas that came across:
Sachin has not been effective as the Sachin we used to know,that is true. But we should not use that yardstick to measure a player.Compare him with other players in our cricket circuit and then you will find he is still better than the others in the domestic circuit and deserves a place in the team. But instead, we compare Sachin with himself in the perios of glory and say he is not playing well. At the same time what about Yuvraj? Harbajan? Dhoni? even Dravid?
So use the same yardstick to judge all.Just because he the the great Sachin Tendulkar, he should not be dropped to degrading himself to a level which is still over other players but below his own natural level of talent.

He is old and having some health problem.Why dont they take young people to play in our ndian team.Finally we are lost our match,no hopes until we win the next match.
Not only Sachin, most top players create world records against non-test playing nations. All Indian crickets are now in a bad patch.!!!!

You are right man.No one here to be compared with schin.But he is not playing well as wel as he has kept his seat in team.So why I recomend him he should take retire.One another hard cricketer might get chance,though he couldnt be like schin but can like sourabh,rahul.You will see if sachin fails others would thinks they also not be able to score.This phenomena should be clear out as sachin is not his best form.Anyway thanks for joining me.

I think he should continue play till he decided to retire from the world cricket. He is just a great cricketer and i think we must leave it to him whether to quit or continue playing..

This is high time for Sachine to retire from cricket. However, he can play national games within country. He can be a coatch. There are lot of jobs for him for new generation, but he must retire from international cricket and give the chance to new comer.

i think age should nt be a matter of concern while retiring..
if one is not performing since one year n being injured time n again after playing one or two matches..
then wat is the worth of playing like that..
i respect sachin bcoz he is a best batsman in the world..
but he should retire now to keep his name bright...
if he keeps on playing till 35 i m sure sachin wont be remembered as the "MASTER BLASTER"

I think its time for him to stop his play before getting thrown out from the team...He is not having the old concentartion which he used to have.His eye movement is lagging behind the ball.He is not timing the ball properly.He is just a shadow of what he was in the past.When ever some criticize from somewhere comes,he plays a good inninngs and remains in team for some more time..But noone is understanding that he is extremely lacking the consistency which he used to have long time back...He himself should think and take a better decision.He is alltime great player and we are noone to force him..But I think his days have gone back...

Ya your are right some bit of.But yet he is a great player.One think you should remember India has records to disregards great player in their bad form.we have so many example.So what ever happen in next few days we should keep our head straight and cool.We cannt diragards him .So please keep patience and best things will come soon.

Many people think that Sachin should be retired and give chance to youngsters.But I think that Sachin should continue. The youngsters cannot come up to our expectations. we can give our teams responsibility on less experienced players. Sachin should one more chance. How can throw the highest run getter and century maker(in one days)from our side?

I think that Sachin is not in a good form but as we all know that he is the legand and he has the capability to come back any time. I feel that he has still lot of cricket left in him and he should continue to play. I am sure that before 20-20 world cup, Sachin would be back in form.

Someone can proves better if he get chance.So one need to take ritirement,other way on one gets chance nor can proves better.In our tradition we recognise a wel performer as a GOD,but a man cannt be GOD.He also have to ended his carreer onetime.Noone carry on whole life.Why we cant believe that sachin belongs to cricket ,cricket doesnt belong to sachin.

I think Sachin should retire immediately as he is old now to play. YOu are right that he should retire as soon as possible and should not play in the next world cup. YOu know why Indian CRicket team lost WC? Its just because Most of the cricketer are old( Sachin,Rahul, Saurav, Verendra) Why the hell these people are still playing. They should retire soon and give chanmce to the youngers. iam sure they will rock.

I think that sachin should continue beacuse he has the capabilties and he don't forgot his play, his tricks to play cricket,his techniques, he also has the experiance and lot of things that can't be in the new players...

I think its only a bad patch of his Career.. He will come out from this phase.. There is lot of cricket left in him.. When we look for our Hero Sachin in this Sachin we will dissapoint but when we look for other crickter around him then we think he is better than those.. He must deserve a place in team..
In my opinion He should continue..and prove the point..
