Hi, I am new to mylot and after reading many discussions, I wanted to chime in with what I have found over the last year. About a year ago, I decided to try some "work from home" ventures to make some extra money. After what seems like a gazillion $ in investments and not enough in return, I was able to find a few companies out there that can deliver. I bought into affiliate programs, clickbank, websites, blogs, marketing, etc. It has been quite draining and frustrating trying to figure out what is legit. So recently, I decided I would share my findings with anyone interested in listening. I took the website (I bought with another program) and changed it to what I have found to be (and still believe today) a top 10 of "work from home" programs. I also changed the blog that I had purchased in another program and decided to use it to post my ongoing findings and experiences (www.besthomebasedbiz.blogspot.com). I just started posting the blog about a week ago and only have a few up so far of what I feel are legitimate companies. I will definitely share more and post more as I have time. The reason I have these (top 10)programs listed is because I have invested in each one and was at least able to earn my money back over a reasonable time. My goal was to find companies or products that I really enjoyed. I have it currently narrowed to 3 that are making some money. Don't get me wrong, there were many companies that were scams and I don't see how anyone could be making money with them, so I decided to concentrate on sharing info from the good ones I found. The one I enjoy most is National Homeworkers Association (link top right of blog). I like them mainly because you get to control the amount of money you make because it is directly tied to the amount of assembly work you do from home. Simple concept; the more you decide to work, the more you can make. And they have over 70 companies to choose from in their directory including some other business opportunities. Out of the 70, I have tried 4 and there are two that I like. I think there is something for everyone. The other nice thing is if you decide within 30 days it's not for you, you can return and get a refund (and then try another company). Sorry for rambling on and on, I just wanted to share as much as I can and give everyone some of my background and findings. Please check out the blog and/or website and let me know what you think.
