something that happened to me today

this will be kind of a long story. last week i was in the utility room and heard a cat meowing. the garage is right there where the utility room is. so i went and opened up the garage thinking maybe a cat got in there i didnt see a cat in there so closed the garage. i told my mom and she went out to see if she could find where the cat is. today i was taking my dog in the back yard and i was calling one of my cats and i heard the cat meow again. i was looking around to see where the cat was couldnt see another cat just my cat. i picked up my cat and he was restless because he heard the cat too so he jumped from my arms to a shelf we have outside. he was growling and hissing but he looked up . i looked up to see what my cat pepper was looking at and there was a vent and im pretty sure i saw the cat where the vent was. i have no idea how the cat got there. i was the only one at home so when my brother got home i told him what was going on so he got the ladder to the attic down and went up there he finally saw the cat and was trying to get the cat close to him so he can get him out the attic. he seemed to want to get out but was scared. i figured he was very hungry so i got some cat food. i kept calling him and he finally came down the ladder he knew there was some food. i had a little bit of a hard time getting him because i didnt want to pick him up and have him scratch me. i put the food down and he started eating it i pet him a little then picked him up. after i picked him up i sat on the couch and he ate more cat food pet him for a minute so he could feel comfortable then i put the cat outside and put the food out too. i figured he hadnt eaten for a couple of days. this cat is not full grown yet. i have no idea how the cat got up in the attic. when i heard him meowing and knowing couldnt get anything done until my brother got home it broke my heart and started to cry. the cat seems friendly and didnt seem to mind being held. he did seem scared which i dont blame the cat. i saw the cat and could tell that he was black. we have a cat that is black that has been missing for awhile so seeing the black thought it might be him but it wasnt. we have people around here that dont seem to care about there pets. we have dogs that just roam around the neighborhood and the owners dont care. we live at a dead end and someone dropped off a baby kitten that was a week to couple of weeks old. he was so skinny you could see his ribs. we ended up keeping him and now hes healthy. we have 2 cats and 1 dog. the 2 cats stay outside but im always keeping an eye on them and they are fed everyday. i give them attention everyday. we have about 3 cats that hang around our house. one of the cats i know fights and i think hes the one that has been fighting with my young cat pepper. there are 2 other black cats not sure how them two are. we must have s sign saying we are pet lovers because most of the cats we have been cats that start hanging around our house and we start to feed them. i wish some of these people take responsibilty for there pets. has anybody ever found a cat in there attic? is this something that just happened to me?
