It has been said that people in the UK do not complain enough about poor service.
I have had a lot of problems with my mobile service over the last couple of weeks. I have two phones, both on the Vodafone network. One is my personal prepay mobile, the other a contract phone provided by work.
Two weekends running, I have had the same problem with my personal mobile - Whilst I can make calls out, SMS messages wouldn't send and if I tried to call my own number, it said the number was not in service and didn't exist!
I complained to Vodafone and they just said there was a problem with their pay as you talk network and it would be fixed soon.
I wasn't satisfied with this because, as I pay over a certain amount on calls and texts in the week, I qualify for free calls and texts at weekend and felt that I was being conned into spending money on their network but they were failing to provide the service I was paying for - preventing me from using the free texts especially.
I therefore responded to their message and asked for compensation. Last night they credited my phone with £5 credit.
Do you complain about poor service or do you let it go?

Yes I complain about poor service and I will not go back to a business where I am not given proper customer service. I don't care if they have a job in a month. They should have thought about that before they were rude and can starve for all I care if they don't treat people right. After all it is part of the job. I am a firm believer in if you are not going to do the job right... let someone who will have it.
