Batsmen, Bowler OR All-Rounder........... Your Abilty

What a great topic. I'm an all rounder too. I bowl off spin and I'm a right handed batsman. My bowling record was 14 last year. Pretty impressive record. With the bat I'm a 0 or 30 man. If I get in I make a big score. If I don't I go out cheaply. I mostly use flight and spin to get people out. I have got many wickets through stumpings. I give the ball lots of loop and as a result get many batsman out. My best performance was 32 with the bat, 3 wickets and 2 catches. All in one match. I also like fielding. I try to dive at everything and had lots of success. I'm not boasting about my self just sharing my experiences. Once again great topic.

i do not playcricket now. but when i used to play cricket i was allrounder. a good batsman , bowler and fielder. i remember that day when my team won the match due to my good batting.

To your surprise I was captain of my college team and was good in sports through out my life. I am brown belt in judo and national level player in snooker too. I'm into snooker and body building more now. I used to either open or come first down . I was always used to be first change bowler as I was a leg spinner that too finger leg spinner which is hard to get nowadays and had dusra too and my armballs were pretty good too. Nowadays don't get a chance to play but used to play every fortnight first after leavinf professional. Have played for clubs too. I'm not hard hitter or six hitting batsman but I'm handy in running between wickets and can hit ground shots efficently in gaps for two's and threes.

Interesting! I played in the school cricket team as an all rounder. Number 3 batsman, Off Cutter bowler and Gully fieldsman. But nothing special. All are in average. Like present Indian team. Can do any thing, but can't do nothing.
