Why are there clouds in the sky? Why do they float? What are they made of?

Hi jarves, as i recall, clouds are water vapour that evaporates (due to heat) from the lakes, rivers, sea. When they reach an altitude high enough, thy will cool down and turn into tiny water droplets. These tiny droplets of water combined and with the wind factor joins with others to make coulds. They float because they are light. When they join together to form bigger clouds, (cumulo nimbus) rain fall. Depending on the ground temperature, we can see rainfall, snow or hale. - Lyn

When the clouds passes you, its like a mist. It is water droplets if you remember? You wouldn't be drenched like from a thunder storm. But you will be damp rather than wet. Try spraying evian mist and walk through it. The cloud is much bigger than that. Cheers! - Lyn

Good afternoon! I hope I am a scientist so that I could help you resolve this issue. I use to remember it when I was in my school days, but I guess I already forget the scientific explanation for the existence of clouds and it's components. Anyway, I just drop by to greet you. Have a wonderful day! Welcome in MyLot!
