Have you ever talked to someone close to you using your mind?

I am not really sure If I ever talked to someone using my mind, but my experience is quite like it. There was a typhoon that day, all classes were suspended, all public utility vehicles are stranded because of flood. I went inside Wendy's because I don't have an umbrella with me and I really need a place too stay. It was past dinner time and I haven't ate, I wanted to eat but my money wasn't enough... So, I just stayed in and thought about my mom, and wished for her to come and get me... after a few minutes, I saw my mom walking in, and I shouted at her, without asking her she told me that she felt someone calling her to go to Wendy's, she was already riding a jeepney but she went down and stopped at Wendy's because of that feeling... coincidence? probably... What's your experience?

I think there's some truth to it. Remember the big earthquake that shook our country way back in the early 90s? I was still a student then studying in Philippine High School for the Arts. It's situated high up in the slopes of Mt. Makiling. When the earthquake took place the building we were in really vibrated and the water in the pool over flowed..., Being kids and away from home, we were all scared with only our teachers to console us. The next morning my uncle came all the way from Pampanga just to check if I'm ok. Apparently, my grandmother hundreds of kilometers away persuaded him to visit. It was well appreciated because I too was worried about them.
