Which do you prefer prepaid or postpaid cellphone lines? Prepaid lines can be budgeted and you can control your usage but in postpaid line you will take advantage of the luxury of paying after your usage monthly.

i still can't choose! i've experienced both ends, and i've seen the advantages and disadvantages of both. i really like the availability of post paid but i can't seem to control myself from using or most of the time exceeding my allowable minutes.. for prepaid, there's not much security and less features, but i can always have an excuse that i don't have credits, so, i don't need to reply! ehehehehheeh!

I would not like to have to worry about going to the store and purchasing a top up card or a pre paid card 2 or 3 times a month. I would rather pay once a month and use as much as I want with out a limit.
Plus if I do use way too much in one month, I am able to make payment arrangments with the cell phone company. I don't enjoy contract companies though. I get 1600 minutes a month for $20 plus tax. No contracts, great coverage, and long distance and roming are included. I have a Sony Ericsson 810i, which is a Cingular phone, but I use it with the company I am with. (Consumer Cellular)
If I had a contract, which I have had in the past, I would get free nights and weekends. But I would not get the freedom to change my plan at anytime. If I need more or less minutes with the company I am with, then I can have that changed anytime through out the month.
