I don't cook though, but as far as seeing my mom cook in the kitchen, I don't think its a stress free job at all.. She's always stressed out when she finishes the work in the kitchen.. It often exhausts her out...

I love cooking especially baking, I do find it really relaxing, but sometimes when I'm cooking dinner I find it quite stressful as I have two fussy eaters here, both wanting different foods aaaagh one being my Partner who likes things plain and flavourless and our oldest Daughter who also likes things plain, thankfully my youngest Daughter and my son likes all foods.

That completely depends on a few things, like who is helping, how much time I have to prepare the food, and the type of food I am preparing. I usually love to cook as long as I can cook whatever I want and it is not something terribly difficult. However, having a bunch of two year olds help you cook is never stress free! They do love to help though and it is worth the extra trouble.

oh yes...I believe so too, that's why some women get fat (pardon, pardon pls) coz eating relieves stress and it helps relax our minds since all our efforts go into chewing food and our body focuses on the digestive system. All enzymes/hormones that are released is geared towards the food we ate, so when we eat we do not feel our stress/es

my best time of the day is when i m in the kitchen and there is no one at home because i m having many people at my place, so dont like any pressure on my head. i love to cook, experiment new things because i feel kitchen is my laboratory and i keep on experimenting things there.

I love to cook. Tie me up in the kitchen and let me rock. It doesn't always turn out but that is half the fun for me. I love surfing the internet and coming up with new ideas. I love to experiment with foreign recipes and new spices. The internet has brought so much to my recipes that I seldom am at a want to know what to cook. My hubby stays interested too. I stress out at work and rant all the way home, but once I am in my kitchen taking my aggression out on a harmless carrot or two I feel much more relaxed. Cooking shouldn't be a chore but an expression of oneself.

Well for me it's a a case of can't cook, won't cook and I hate cooking! So if I have to do it I get stressed and find it a chore, just like ironing. There is no best time to be preparing or cooking food! Although I have my computer in the kitchen. My housemate does the cooking and believe me he gets very stressed and angry especially when things don't go right, get burnt or he has forgotten something, that's the time to avoid the kitchen like the plague.

I hate cooking and hate having to prepare a meal for the day or find something sweet to make . I don't have the knack that others have for trying something new , half the time it doesn't work out for me and then I feel defeated or end up getting mad at myself as I wasted all this money on something that no one is going to eat , not to mention the time you put into this . So I try to stick with only the things I know I can make and leave the rest for my daughter as she loves to bake and cook :)

Food making is not all a stress free activity for me. I get very stressed if i have to make something that require a bit of work - at least if I have to use a cook book, or if I expect guests. It is not at all stress free!

If I'm having company coming, then I'm too stressed out to really enjoy the process of cooking. However, if I'm just cooking for myself and my small family, then I enjoy the process of choosing a recipe, shopping and preparation. Then it is enjoyable and a great hobby.
