your parents or your lover.
let's have a situation:
you accidentally fall in love with the daughter/son of your papa's old sweetie. they had a big mis understanding and so they really hate each other. when they knew about you and your lover's relationship, they don't want you two to pursue your love. you really love the girl/boy. you felt that it is true love.
what will you do? will you go away with your lover and live in a far away land or choose to stay with your parent and break your lover's heart into two?

There must come a time in a person's life that you must choose for yourself and not let your parent's wants define who you are.
I would choose to be with the person I love. Parents can express approval or dislike with whoever I want to be with, but in the end, the choice and the right to choose is mine. It is not your intention to hurt their feelings, but you have your own life to live and you are entitled to make your own decisions. Even if you make a mistake, it is still your choice.
The time has come for your childhood to end, and time to take responsibility for your own life.
