Who are the tallest people in the world?Which country?How tall are you

I didn't know that the dutch were the tallest! I am from a fairly tall family - my nephews are all around 6' to 6'4" and my 16 yr old nice is over 6'1" and both my kids are tall - quite often I feel like a midget even though I was 5'9" (not sure exactly what height I am now that I have shrunk!) and both my kids are tall! Niall is 5'9" at 13 and Niamh is almost 4' and she is only 5!

.I have 3 sons , the eldest is about 5ft 8 I think , The middle one and Ross are both over 6 ft, Now I think my user name tells it all in my case lol , My boys always called me the wee mam , I am 4 ft 11 an3/4 , hubby always laughs at this and says not to forget the 3/4 lol my hubby used to be 5ft 8 but I think he has shrunk a wee bit , Maybe I have worn him down lol but they are all gorgeous ( well I think so anyway xxxx

I am the smallest My Daughter is about 5"3 my Son is 6" I am 5" oh no hang on my Sons Partner is the smallest she is about 4"6 Heheheheh someone smaller then me Hugs

Oh yes the Netherlands people are extremely tall. I only knew this due to the swimming which recently had this on the television here they were the World Games. Well my husband is 6'3" and the smallest is 5' so we have a mixture within our family no specific reason only they are coming from our genies in our two families but my husband family are very tall people and they used to be taller years ago.

I did notice that average people here in Holland quite tall. Since I'm quite small sometimes I feel like I'm in the land of giant...hehehe. That's why I prefer to sit down (together) while talking otherwise I'll get sore neck by looking up the whole time. Which reminds me when I was invited by my brother inlaw to his bikers club (most of them are harleys riders), goodness they all giants....hahaha. With all do respect, they often lifted me up so I can reach their bar table....I really had a god laugh with them though, they look tough but actually they are soft people. But what I've heard the the tallest person in the world is from china about 2,36 mtr tall.....phew...

My family is a mixture of tall nad short persons!!! but theere is no one who is very tall or someone who's very short!!! my dad is 5'7" mom is 5'3" and im 5'9" so cant say!!!!

yes you are right ...but i think award for the tallest man in the world is given to someone who is from china..he is some what 7feet-9inches....well americans are all most the tallest...there you fond every above 6 feet well i have no idea about ditch people may they too... ya my family members are tall....and yours?????

I saw this on the news too lol..Did you see that Mongolian gent who is the tallest man in the world at seven feet something married a lady half his age and half his hieght..now that will be funlol!! They are quite a handsome couple may I add too..So the Dutch then have a very good standard of living and healthcare apparently.

yes, it is true. i too have heard about it. my family is medium they are all average people like my father is 5'9 my mom is 5'4 my grand mom is 5'3 , here my in laws are also average, like my hubby is 6 mother in law is 5'4 fatther is 5'6. we are Indian and we are rarely heighty people other than some exceptions of some ladies who are holding crowns as beauty queens.

Short, my bro is 5'6, my sis is 5'3 & I'm only a fraction over 5', nearly 5'1. I've gotta say that the areas of the U.S. that have the tallest people over all are decended from Scandenavia. I had a friend that was 5'10, Lindburg was her maiden name. My roomie is also 5'10, her mother is of German extraction - probably Dutch rather than Saxon.

I can tell you , the tallest people is in Neimenggu province of China. more than two point three metre. I'm 185 cm,the tallest in my families.
