Hi All,I wanted to know from your side the biggest brand name of india which is representing INDIA to the world.
as per my analysis, it is suppose to be like..
1- TATA Inc.
or
like
2- TajMahal
3- Indian Culture
4- Sachin TendulKar
and
5- Amratya Sen
what would you think.

Hi Misdss,
It's a great & grave question. Not for fun. Everything you highlighted are great & world knows them, but in a confined circle. As for example, Sachin Tendulkar, he is known to the world as a great cricketer. The countries keep interest in cricket, know him. Similarly for others. Yes, Amratya Sen may be different.
Just think seriously. Today, what is the position of India in the world. In which name it is known to the world. Will you deny for "nuclear power". Yes, India is known to the world for it's neclear power.Every country in the world knows that India is the owner nuclear power.
So, it is worth to say that the nuclear power of India is the biggest brand representing it to the whole world.

Well they are all strong pillars of Indian representation to world. In different areas and spheres of life they all somehow somewhere represent india to the world. Taj is mark of indian notion of love and scarifice, Tata is a brand of trust and technology in over eighty-five countries all over the world for its various products. Indian culture, the warm and friendly integrity of india is sign of welcome to the world, Sachin is a household name to indian love for cricket and sportsmen spirit, and Sen is the indian thinking mirror to world. To me they are all unique in themselevs and represent India in various areas of life.

i think finacially and commercially its TATA , they are practicla everywhere , whether its tetly tea, corus steel or owning large nteworks of optical fibres, i think they represent the real indian power by diversifying in all the fields of industries and have the presence in every nook and corner of the world

You have to be little more specific. If you are talking about heritage then it is Tajmahal, hampi,konark,ajantha etc.
If you are talking about brand then I would say it is Infosys, Reliance, and now Bharti. TATA is loosing out now. If you are talking about sports and games it is Sachin and Ms.Mirza.

I think Taj Mahal is the most famous and the only one which will be identified as Indian all over the world. No other thing u have mentioned will not be known as a symbol of India across the world.. Next to Taj Mahal it can be Mr. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and his non-violence... And then comes the Indian culture...
