do you think your dog understands what you are saying?

This might seem insane, but sometimes i feel my dog actually knows what i am saying. The way her head moves a little sideways can be soo understanding, plus the fact that she sometimes acts on commands she doesn't even know. I love that little furry creature, she always makes me laugh!

I'm very convinced that they know what we are saying. Because with my dog, she'll turn her head and it's so cute too, and when I tell her something, she seems to know what I said and does it sometimes. But then other times I think she is just playing dumb so she doesn't have to listen to me lol... I think dogs are really smarter than I am most of the time lol

I think dogs do understand what their owners are saying. Mom mom scolds my dog when its misbehaving, and it knows it being scolded for doing something wrong. You can see its tail between its legs and it sneaks peeks at my mom. I've seen a video clip on tv once. A guy was telling his dog to take the ball only when he counts to 3. So the guy was going 1....2.....5....7....800....4....555......3 and the dog takes it at 3.
