I consider myself as very open minded and hence i think euthanasia is a positive thing. I regard it a s the humane thing to do if a person is soo sick he won't recover. I just wonder: people are always going on about the right to live, but what about the right to die? Personally, i believe we should hyave that right, it's better to end suffering then to let someone suffer!

if god gave you a disease that rendered you unable to breath without experiencing severe pain, and no possibility of getting better (you would be terminally ill), would you still want to live, or would you want to be the person that decides that the pain goes away?

I have several diseases that cause me pain and i always say its the pain that tells me i am still alive .there are NO circumstances where i want to die before my God says it is time .Humans are not Gods and need to leave such things to him as he has reasons for every thing he does may be the pain of a loved one is the way to teach others compassion .did not his own son suffer on the cross any suffering i may have to endure is nothing compared to that !

I think your faith is remarkable, and i admire that. I do still think that with modern medicine being so evolved the most humane thing to do sometimes is end people's suffering, but of course you are entitled to your opinion.

I agree with you. There have been many cases reported lately where people have wanted an end to their pain, and asked for the right to die. If someone is mentally capable of making that decision then I feel they have the right to make that decision and the right to end their pain and suffering

I agree, but it should only be the decision of the person who is suffering. I think it is best to include it in a living will, written during healthy times, that when an illness reaches a chronic stages with a lot of pain and suffering, the person should state what they want done. The right to die should definitely be an option. We have no problems "putting sick an injured pets out of their misery" if they won't recover, so why not humans?

I think it is better for a man to end his suffering.Although the bible don't support this idea,i think it is a much better decision than to prolong the agony of a dying man.

I think if I ever get to that point I will decide for myself. I am not talking about if I was hooked to a machine unconcious I am saying if I was terminally ill and was in severe pain. If I ever get to that point than I will decide what I am gona do and I dont think there is much anyone can do to stop me.

I also disagree with euthanasia. No matter who ask for it, whether the close relatives or even the sick people. If one do belief in God's planning, he'll stay. For everyo suffering in this world is counted by God. We never know what come next, even in a minute ahead.
