I think it's finally time for the WWE to either push Randy Orton into the forefront or go with Edge here.
I'm sorry, but Shawn Michaels does not appeal to me anymore. He's losing it, and I was never a big fan of his anyways, but I respect him as a performer.
It's time they let Orton go to the top and stay there, and Edge has proven to be a dominant heel figure. That is, if Cena doesn't turn heel soon... he's got such a polarizing personality that I think he could go both ways for the WWE.
My other feeling is that the WWE is bracing to bring Bobby Lashley to Raw... they did the match at Wrestlemania and have continued to push him against Mr. McMahon after Wrestlemania, I could see him challenging for the top spot in Raw with the aforementioned names.

Edge spent nearly a year at the top of the spotlight, he probably won't get another shot anytime soon. Randy Orton keeps shooting himself in the foot, which is why they are not committed to pushing him.
I will agree on Bobby Lashley, however, I can see him in the hunt for the WWE Championship by the end of the year, if he hasn't already won it.

My prediction is that Shawn Michaels will defeat John Cena at WWE Backlash to become the new WWE Champion.

i think john cena is a strong contender for the tag of wwe champion....i hope rock comes back to wwe n becomes the champion again.lol
