Eletric drums - You have any experience?

I'm always looking for new additions into my "home studio" and since I live in a flat, I can't play acoustic drums at home. I was thinking about buying a electric drum set, probably Roland TD3 or TD6. As I see it TD3 and TF6 are pretty much the same except for the "brain" unit. So, if you guys have any knowledge about these sets or maybe from some other manufacturer like Yamaha, could you be so nice and tell me what you know about them?

I'm using the Roland TD-20 drum kit and it's awsome. I guess you can't compare accoustic and electronic drum kits at all but for recording it's a great choice I would recommend at any time. Especially when you are living in a flat like me, you can practise at any time you want... plug in your headphones and you won't disturb your neighbours at all. To talk about all the features of this drum set would blow this discussion board... :-) it's endless...
So if you are thinking about buying an electronic set... go for it, you won't regret it!

Thanks for your response. Yes, I've heard that electric and acoustic kits are almost completely different when it comes to playing. I haven't played drums, so that's why I'm searching some good but not that very expensive practice set and everybody seems to say that Roland is the only way to go. TD-20, that's more like Ferrari of electric drums, I sure would buy if I could afford it!
