do you regret break-ups in love?

We don't ever want break-up with somebody we love but, in certain cases, sometimes we have to! i did break-up with my first love, it's not because we do not love each other anymore but his family doesn't like me and against our relationship.. i've to accept that we r not meant to be together. Now he already married with other girl. Afterwards, i do love someone but a married man..oh god! How much i love him, after a year i can't stand anymore to share his love with other woman..so that, our relationship always be in a hot condition..!we break-up! I really suffer because i do miss him so much but i don't want to back to his heart..BTW we keep friend till now! Do i regret?? SOmetimes...
