this ia a million dollar question that who will be the new coach which the team of duffers will get. it would be from india or another international one.
there r many option nationa option:--mohinder amarnath, sandeep patil, kapil dev....
international option:--- viv richards, john right, dave whatmore(coach of bangladesh & former coach of srilanka)

I had not seen tis discussion earleir, otherwise, I may ahve then picked one of the people from your list. Now that Ravis Shatsri has been picked, I think that he is a good choice. in my opinion dav whatmore should coach india.
he's a strong head.
right man for india and the situation is just apt for him to step in.
am sure he will bring laurels for indian team if given a chance.

No matter who coaches Indian team, but the thing that matters is Indian selectors should have courage to select a good team and put off players who are not in form even though they have done good in past and have many records to show.
And as far as coach is concerned, I would like to see a foreign coach as an Indian coach will be biased in terms of region which will again hamper Indian team performance.
