I have loved horses as far back as I can remember. They are so beautiful and strong. I love all breeds. I wish I could own one, but they cost so much, and require so much care. Do you have a horse? Do you love them?

Horses are very pretty and yes they are really expensive. Im not to fond of them because when I was younger one of them threw me off and almost walked on me but my uncle grabbed me just intime. Till this day I wont ride one.

That could be an awful experience. I had a horse lay down while I was on it's back, and then kick me. But, I still seem to be very fond of them.

I like horse as I do like other animals. But I am scared to ride a horse. I agree they are so preety but at the same time they may be dangoruous also when it comes to ride one. I have never think of having a horse. I just like to watch them from a distance and love them.

I love them far and close up. Their noses are like marshmellows. They are smart and so affectionate.

If I had lots of money, I would have a horse for sure, and have someone else do whatever has to be done, leaving me time just to love it and pet it.

I used to have a Bay Morgan Gelding. Not any more, since it has been a few years. With this property if we get back on our feet we will have a horse or two after we get all our other animals settled. Also need to get the field ready for haying and then growing grain for the critters and us. They are eating machines and would love to have the manure for my compost pile. Daughter and I are horse gals.

Honey, I live in horse country. I love the smell of horse manure, and it is great for compost pile. My best strawberries came from that.

Yes I love horses too. I got my first pony when I was 10 and my first horse at 11. We don't have any now since they are so much work and expense. I would love to have one and switch to horse and buggy transportation, but I'm afraid I would also need a stable boy...so until I win the lottery..which I don't even play...lol I guess I won't have anymore horses.

I like horses too. They are beautiful animals. I haven't been on one in ages. At one time I thought about owning a few. Never had the extra money or a place to do it. I have gone to the race track a few times and watched them. They have always fascinated me. Who knows, with gas prices headed to the moon in the years ahead, horses just might come back in style.

Hhaha, from your mouth to God's ears. I would just love that. Picture this, a fancy car with air and comforts, but a horse pulling it.

Yes, Marg, you know I love horses. I have one about $400.00 dollars in March, I am a horse-racing fan, I can't wait for the Kentucky Derby. I will be there. I am very lucky with Horses when going to track that's why I like horses. I make money with them all the time.

I haven't got a horse myself as I think I am gone too old to be riding them. My grandaughter has been taking riding lessons since she was seven years old and has won lots of showjumping competitions. She always wanted her own horse so after she won her last competition , I bought her a horse for her birthday. He has already been trained and she plans to ride him in her next competition.

I love them and always have. I have the room for a horse; but, neither the money or the time. However, I have several neighbors with horses; so, I get to see them quite often.

I am just like you. Have the room, but not the money or time. And I am in horse country, so they are around.

Oh I think that horses are so majestic and beautiful. I always wanted a horse as a young girl. Of course I didn't get one as we lived right in the center of of the city limits! My daughter has always loved horses too. She had books about them from an early age and has read all about them. We live in the city limits and she can't have one. (we couldn't afford it anyway!) We do let her ride whenever there is an opportunity! I distinctly remember her 13th birthday, we were at a campground on South Padre Island, Texas and there was horseback riding at sunset available. We have the pictures of her going for a sunset ride on the beach. She always talks about that birthday memory!

I wish I lived closer, as I would love to give them those treats. You are so lucky. Do you breed them, or just have them as pets?

I very much do love horses as they are very beautiful animals and love seeing them. We had a couple of cops on horses in our neighborhood the other day and they were gorgeous horses. I do not like horse racing though as I feel that is abusing these wonderful animals. I am sure they do cost a lot of money and probably are hard to maintain. I enjoy riding on horses when I go away on vacations.

I have loved horses for as long as I can remember too. I rode alot as a teenager. I took care of a horse for someone and they where going to give it to me but my parents said no. My youngest daughter loves horses. She has been riding for a while. She takes lessons every weekend. She takes english riding lessons. One year we half leased a pony. It cost about 200 a month and you ride 3 times a week. A full lease cost 400 and you can ride as often as you want.

You know horses are my passion. I could not imagine my life without them. Most of our horses earn thier keep roping, penning, reining or cutting. We have a couple of rodeo pick up horses as well. While I am on the subject.... my old rescue horse is doing so well. He follows me everywhere while I do chores. The other three rescues went to some 4H girls that help me around the barns and the arena.

I love horses. I used to raise Arabians in the States. I also raised Racking horses. I always had easy keepers so their feed bills were not much. It actually cost more to keep my dogs in food than my horses. I had 2 round bales of hay delivered each twice a month at $25.00 a roll. These were ton rolls. Most of the time I only needed 3 rolls a month. Good pasture, good feed and hay and plenty of water. I gave my own shots if they needed it. Major, my black Racking horse, would give me a hug each day. He was a sweetie. Just grooming them would life my moods, great way to think. Moli was my first Arabian broodmare. She was already pregnant when I bought her. She gave me the most beautiful Arabian filly, so intelligent, so sweet. If you have the land (at least 1 acre per horse) and find an easy keeper, then there is no reason not to have a horse. They are so gentle, so loving. To look into their eye is to see into their soul. If I had the money I would get another horse. There are a few barns near us. hmmm, wonder if they would let me work off the board? Ah, to love a horse.................
