My husband the Monorail Driver at Walt Disney World

Thom works as a Monorail driver. He say he gets to drive the largest toy train in the world. His job is to put Pixie Dust in your vacation. If you have been on the Monorail, did you get to ride in the front with the driver?

that is so cool, I have never been to disney world but It for sure is in my dreams to be able to make it there someday..I will for sure have to check out the monorail and everything else around there.I will for sure check out your sons page cause this is interesting...Hope your husband loves his job, sounds like a dream job.

Hey Carolee, we just came back from Disney. DId not get to ride the monorail this time, but we did wonder why the monorails are not used more extensively.
I would think that they could be used to avoid some of the traffic. There were times when it took us almost 40 moniutes to get from all-star music to downtown disney. We did not understand this, same the same trip in the car took about 10 minutes.
Does your husband know anything about why the monorail system is not being expanded on?

I've ridden in the front of the monorail at DW many, many times!! I wonder if he's ever been our driver??

That is such a cool job! I love to ride upfront, the view is so awesome!
