Bush has done a good job. He has brought the economy out of a recession that Clinton started, he was thrust into a war that Clinton started and couldn't finish, and he has a house that is environmentally friendly and uses cutting edge technology while Al Gore has a house that is not environmentally friendly. Not only has the economy enjoyed a period of sustained growth over the last several years, unemployment is down, Bush's tax cuts have resulted in more after-tax income for taxpayers, and his proposed 2008 budget includes balancing the budget by 2012 without raising taxes. Despite all of this he has had to endure a lot of bad publicity from the media and the liberals, have his message and achievements co-opted by the Democrats, and have his popularity diminished by people who have no idea of what they are talking about.

I'm sorry but do you live in the same America that I do? You sound like you re-printed that right off a Republican talking points sheet. I mean after 7 years how can you still be blaming Clinton for the problems we are in. Clinton never sent troops to Iraq so how can you blame that quagmire on him?

I'm not going to argue those facts with you because I concede I do not know enough about them to comment. What I do know was that none of my friends were sent over there to die like they are being now. Bombing campaigns are one thing...wholesale invasion and occupation of a country is another. And if I remember correctly Clinton got raked over the coals for bombing an Al-Queda training facility that was built next to a school in Afghanistan by the very same people that voted us into this war with no regard for the civilian casualties it would produce.

Those bombings were to soften Iraq in order to make it easier for us to invade. If Clinton had remained in office, we would still have invaded Iraq, just maybe not as soon as we did. It was Clinton's intention to depose Saddam, and In 1998 Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act, which made regime change in Iraq official US policy. So we would have went regardless of who was in office.

There are many things I could tell about him... But I don't want to curse. I was brought up in a respectable family after all.

go on youtube. Seach Roosevelt's great speech. Kennedy's great speech. Then search George W. Bush's speechs. That guy is a riot, he sounds like Elmer Fud. If you're going to be the leader of a country, you should at least have some sort of higher intelligence. Thats just my opinion though i guess. I didnt vote for him, but hey neither did the majority of people in the US. Gotta love the electoral college system.

I think he has done a damn fine job considering the circumstances he has had to deal with.

There is plenty to say but not much original...much like his thinking process (or lack thereof). What can you say about a guy who has clearly been in over his head before being "elected" the first time? Everything that America had been built to by the 3 preceding presidents he has single-handedly destroyed. I know it is not just one man who could do this but he is the "elected" leader of the group. I cannot speak about him as an individual but as a president I think he is horrible.
