I'm wondering if people find a difference between the liquid softener added to the rinse cycle better than the sheets of softener added in the dryer...and if they are as good as they used to be i know long ago when my mom used to use a brand called bounce its scent stayed on my clothes and i loved it..now i don't find it the same..my mom swears by the liquid for sheets and towels but funny thing is if you read the care label its says not to use liquid it reduces the absorbency of the towel..so now how confused am i so who knows this answer?? liquid or sheet?? which do you prefer

hey, i use liquid because..this is gonna be funny. everytime you have passed me hand me downs it always smelled so good and i knew you used fabric softner so i started using it and i also use fleecy sheets for static. My laundry smells so good. whenever my neighboor comes over the first thing she sais is, your house always smells like clean laundry. so thanks for unintentionally intriducing me to fabrick softner. i love it, mandy xo

We have the little dispenser thing in the middle of the washer that we can put liquid in. So that's what we do. I say we, like I do the laundry. That's the way my husband does it. :) I don't ever wash or dry clothes, unless I need something specific. Otherwise I just put them away.
Anyway, we wouldn't have time to put it in if it meant we had to pay attention to what cycle the washer was on. I know, I always complain about no time, but I always find time to respond to your discussions! :)

I like to use both. I used to just use the dryer sheets (Gain).
Since i moved to New Mexico I have had a static problem so I started using both.

I use both. I like my laundry to be soft, especially my towels and I use the liquid fabric softener for that, but I have no favorite brand. I use the dryer sheets to reduce static electricity. I also find the dryer sheets help to reduce wrinkling and make folding clothes much easier.
