second course nursing... which college is the best that offers?

Hi! I'm planning to go back to school as a second course nursing student but still have not decided w/c college to go to... pls help me by providing me some infos about your college & how much is the tuition fee for those who are already enrolled. Thanks!

Silliman University is the best and the most number of board passers in the intire country. It's definitely, the #1 performing nursing school in the phils. Its Board Exam Ratings from 1951-2006 ranges 98-100% every year. Last year, 11 out of the top 20 topnotchers were sillimanians.

by the way, the tuition fee in Silliman only ranges from 30K-50K/sem.

The latest board exam topnotcher is from Unciano Colleges. My daughter also wants to take up nursing, I inquired and its around 25K per sem. Well, I can say that the school really trains the nursing students well, they got earlier and longer hospital training than other colleges. (They have their own hospital, are they taking advantage of the students? hahaha! No matter, it's good training.) By the way the topnotcher is a licensed doctor of medicine who took up nursing as a second course because he wanted to go abroad, nursing is a better vehicle than being a doctor.

Personally, i do not think it was the school. Don't you think it's because that he's a doctor already and he knows enough in the field of medicine to top the exam, being a licensed doctor he is.

Well if you are planning to take and continue your nursing course, then why dont you go to Fatima or to Lanting? but i think, the tuition fee in Fatima is more expensive than Lanting. I am not sure about it. Have a nice day ahead from Francis.
