What if she says "yes"

Some of you may remember a discussion I stated about my mother dating a loser. I am getting really worried that she may give in and marry him. I have been doing everything I can to be supportive of her and be there for her so she can realize on her own what a loser this guy is. Last week she told me he gave her an ultimatum that either she marries him or he is leaving. He has done this before so it is idol threats but none the less it gets her nervous. She told me "no" she would not marry anyone who give her a deadline and threatens her into marrying them. Now this morning she told me that she told him "yes" and then later changed her mind again. I am so confused it is making me crazy. She knows she does not love him the way you should when marrying a person but yet she is so afraid to be without a man that she may actually go through with it. Any ideas on what else I can do to make her feel better about this situation. Help!
