Or were you the one who was fooled? lol...
It was already past 9pm last Sunday when I remembered it was April fool's day. So before the day ended, I wanted to fool my parents around.
I sent my Dad an SMS text message that says "Dad, Ate Din (my sister) and I are in the hospital right now because she can hardly breathe.". And so he called me thru my mobile phone immediately. I thought I could fool him but he knows it's April Fool's so he just laughed.
And so DAd relayed the message to my Mom, so she called me immediately too. SHe was asking what actually happened and sounded so worried about it. I was giggling on the phone. She didn't seem to realize it was just a joke. But eventually, I told her the truth and greeted her "Happy Fool's DAy, Mom!".
Oh my! I thought she's gonna laugh at it but you know what's her reaction? She scolded me for doing it so! She said she's currently having a high blood pressure and when she heard the news from Dad, she really got worried about it! Oh my! Sorry, Mom! I was just joking! But yeah! I just can't stop myself from laughing.
After that I realized it was not a good joke at all! Whew! So how about you? Did you fool anyone last April fool's? Do share your experiences. :)

I have one more April Fool joke I pulled..My sister was very sick with leukemia, and for a while she was back and forth to the hospital. Chris and I thought and thought all day how we could get our mom..We decided I would call her and tell her that Chris was in the hospital and would she baby sit my daughter for me why I go up to the hospital to see Chris...Mom was out of her mind with worry..She said "Do you think I am going to baby sit when my daughter is in the hospital..What hospital is she in? I will be there in 5 min. I was laughing so hard, Mom got mad when she found out it was an April Fools joke.

I can remember, when I was 16 and just starting to drive my mom's car, I locked the keys in the car at the grocery store..I was devastated. Every thing is a big deal when you are 16, ya know. So I knew it wasn't going to do me any good to call mom because I had the car..So I called my Uncle Frank..He said he would be right there..Since he only live 5 min. away, I waited patiently. He never came.. I called my Uncle Jim..He said he would be right there to get me..He wanted to know if I had a coat hanger..He would bring one..But he never came..I cried and cried. I called my Aunt Mary Lou and while I was talking to her I heard my Uncle Jim come through the door at her house, saying APRIL FOOL, APRIL FOOL,But Aunt Mary Lou said for me to calm down she was on her way...She never came..
I finally talked to the store manager, thought tears I told him about the keys in the car, car locked, Uncle Frank, Uncle Jim, Aunt Mary Lou, and APRIL FOOL. He was very sympathic and said he would help. He came out to the parking lot with a coat hanger. As he was trying to open my car door, I told him how bad I felt a about locking the keys in my car and he said Lady you feel bad.......here I am breaking into a car that I don't know is yours......on April fools day.
What an experience
