First thing I ever said to my husband. I'll never forget it. I was teaching the sword fighting at the Rennasaince Faire I was working at. I looked up and there was this man who was walking across the field towards me. I held two swords, so I challenged him. He accepted the challenge and thus began the duel of my life. We got married out there, and now run a shop selling clothes out there. And are kids, well...they sword fight too!

Hey what marriage wouldn't survive after that start. LOL
Sounds like a nice way to meet and a great way to get a man's attention. My hubby and I love Rennasaince Faires but he wants to dress up and I am a stick in the mud and won't let him do so. He is a history buff and loves anything to do with that time in history.
In closing to you, may the best swordsman/woman win !! LOL

Oh I win one way or the other. I'm also a horrible influence. My local bag boy at the grocery store now goes with us to the faire.
Too bad you won';t dress!! We had an absolutely fabulous masked ball this past weekend. We did court dancing and had fire twirlers and bards. It ran from 9.oo to midnight. The food was awesome (I should know, I helped make the fruit bouguet centerpiece, not as pretty as ediblearrangements make, but not bad). And the costumes and masks...oh..they wear fantastic. JUst when you thought you had seen the best something new would catch your eye. Fun and fun!!

lol sounds like a cool way to start a relationship. and you can fight to release tension too, how convenient.
