How old was you baby when you took them off the bottle?

My son is starting to drink from the cup and hes going to be two.

I took both of my children off of the bottle by age one.I think that is the time frame given to me by my doc.Something about if you let them keep the bottle too long it destroys the enamel on the teeth.
