Zoo at my House!

We pretty much have a zoo at my house, though a small one. We have a dog named Jake, he is the animal we have had the longest, a cat named Wilbur, nine hermit crabs, I can't even begin to think of all their names, Ha! Ha!, and a gerbil named Little Bit. We thoroughly enjoy all our pets, they are a lot of entertainment. Jake barks and goes bonkers to let us know whenever someone comes into or around our yard that he doesn't know. He loves for you to talk to him. He wags his tail and his ears droop in a happy way. He also looks like he is grinning at you! Wilbur loves to come into our house and sleep. He is mostly an outside cat but he comes into to eat and occasionally take a nap. He loves to get on the foot of our bed to sleep. One night he used my husband's foot as a pillow. It was hillarious. He is solid white except for blue eyes and a pink nose. The hermit crabs belong to my son and daughter. Some of the names are Eugene, Pearl, Laney, Jasmine, Jasper and Bill. Whenever he gets another one we never know what kind of name my son will come up with. The gerbil, Little Bit, belongs to my daughter. She is a pretty little thing. I wasn't sure I would be happy with a gerbil in the house at first because they do look a lot like mice, but I have grown attached to her almost as much as my daughter. When I'm working here at home during the day on my transcription reports I have her cage nearby and she keeps me company. That's all the animals we have now, I don't think we need anymore, Ha! Ha!
