Should you show affection in Public, Kissing, Hugging?

I feel when you are in the public you want you can kiss your girl on the cheeks and you can also hug her if you want to. But i dont want to kiss her on the public and let thousand eyes be on me. I am just not comfortable about it.

My ex boyfriend, he hateed to cuddle, hold hands, etc etc in public. I guess he was Japanese even though he lived in US for long time. I show affection more than he did and he didnt like it. Now, my husband, he show me affection in public the way I like. Not too much but cuddle, hugs, kiss, etc. Too much is I think it rude to some people but just little bit should be okay in public.
