I agree with you that Avery Johnson is a great coach and should win coach of the year. The Mavs, however, will lose in the Western finals to my Phoenix Suns.

how can the dallas lose to the phoenix suns when in fact they can't even get past the golden state warriors in the first round?
dallas is mavericks no more, they should change their team name to mav-WRECKS.. the ultimate playoff chokers

He definetly deserves it, and in doing so he'll be the first coach ever to win it in back to back years.

He deserves it. Can we give an Anti-Coach of the year award? My vote is for Pat Riley!

Yup he was a great player with the San Antonio Spurs and he is doing quite well passing on his experience to the young players in Dallas Mavericks.
He has done a tremendous job and I believe he should get the Coach of the Year award. If not, at least the most improved coach award.

He made Dallas play as a team instead of a one or two player team. He made a big change when it comes to defense. He deserves it every year they have a season like this one.

avery johnson really deserves it. he has turned dallas from an elite team to a title contender. im just wondering if dallas still have steve nash on the team with avery johnson calling the shots at the sidelines
