back in high school i would come up with lyrics, pretty good ones (as they've said), but i would need the music first. i would need to hear the melody for a couple of times, then, give me a theme and i would be able to provide you the lyrics. i won't be able to come up with lyrics first and then do the music.. it would need to be melody first, then i will let the words flow with it!

I see. That's pretty unusual. Most people do the lyrics first before the melody. You really are talented aren't you? =) I envy people like you. =)
Thanks for responding and have a nice day! =)

No I have never tried to do that But I have a friend in a band that is really awesome at writing songs and putting a beat to it! I think that is so amazing that someone can do that It takes a lot of talent

Yeah. I've known some who can come up with lyrics and tunes in a matter of minutes. Talented people. I hope I was one of them. =(

i've once tried to write lyrics for my guitarist friend. we were high schools then. i remember i wrote something about love. i didnt know if he were able to make it into a song but i do remember that i thought it was nice lyrics but in reality its bad and its cliche. lol music really is where my versatility fails me. i love to sing but i dont have the proper vocal chords. lol

Haha.. I tried singing too but I ended up as the ones singing in the background LOL. Good thing I can play the guitar quite well so that kind of compensates it. =P
Have a great day! =)

Me too..I really don't like the songs i'm making because like you it's so easy to make the lyrics but the tune is just plain hard especially for me because I don't know how to play the guitar and stuff o well...

I do know how to play the guitar, but still, I find it hard to laydown some tunes into my lyrics. Ends up sounding like some song. =(
