Yes I agree with you, a ban button would be really nice. There are a few people who just like to post negative comments to get people all upset and start an argument. Those people, the trouble makers don't even deserve the right to post their opinion.

Hahaha! Yes, "ban button" would be the best solution!;)
I receive some of those on my discussions too, even when my posts are 'feel-good topics, there are always someone who would try to ruin the flow of the discussion. Sometimes, it also affects my mood while being here. I think most of them negative responders are kind of jealuos, jealous of the good positive success of what we have. And how I would they disappear immediately, or maybe mind their own business, as I am sure they will have someone who will pick up on them.

I haven't had any problems yet, but I've seen some very negative responses that were not just opinions, but almost a direct attact on someone for no good reason. I think that some of these types of responses are there only to be inflammatory so they will get a huge response. The best thing to do for now is to give them a negative rating, and do not respond to them. If they don't get what they want, maybe they'll quit. If they continue, I suppose a ban button would be a good idea.

This particular person has such a low star rating, it is funny. Yet, she has not figured it out that it is because she is so mean to people. I have never responded to her posts but lately she has responded to several of mine.

Luckily I have not had this problem yet. But I am sure I will run into a problem like this sometime. There are so many rude and negative people in the world that it is certain to happen. I like reading the responses that people post to my discussions and I guess if some of them are negative or down right rude at least it could make for a good laugh at the maturity level of some..maybe? I don't think that your idea of having a ban button is too much to ask, it might come in handy someday..maybe mylot will eventually add one. Thanks for the post and have a great night.

Yes i wish to ban some people if they get too harsh and rude...
But then again, by banning them may be considered rude to a CERTAIN EXTEND as it rob others of the chance to voice out opinions..
usually i would just choose to ignore them instead...
But the ban/block button is a better opiton if things really get out of hand..

Most of the people who have responded to me, I can handle. However, I can think of one is rude to everyone she responds to. She will post just to be nasty. She should not even be on Mylot.

It doesn't mean they cannot post. I means they cannot post in YOUR discussions.
