Maybe you can ask questions on the interest/catergory that have many users in it.
There are many steps to get more responses. You've got to have serious friends who like to answer discussions and not just get some answers.
You just have to observe what topic is hot and then make sure that when you post your discussion there are many people online. But I think there are equally a number of online anytime of the day because users/members are around the globe.

honestly, i am not the right person to ask or to answer your query coz i'm not as methodological as myLot co-members are, probably because of personality, writing skill or the way they articulate ideas, avatar?beauty, 99+ friends, etc. my advice is for you to check those myLot members who have many responses to their discussions. see myLot friends: madonna143, lordwarwizard

Find something new and origional I am sick of seeing the same discussions over and over I answer the ones that are new and different to me Do a search on the subject before you post to see if anyone else has posted it before Be origional!

I used to start my discussions based mainly on random thoughts... that was before i reached the 500 benchmark to be able to copy-paste. You can start anything out of the ordinary by being observant on things that are happening around you. Chances are, they may be similar to previous discussions but what the heck... you will always make a difference by the way you discuss it yourself.
Good luck, my friend. Happy earning.
