Yes, I believe that some good things never last. That's why they say that the only thing that's constant is change. Even the most carefully planned future doesn't go the way exactly as it is planned. That's why we should always have plan B. Like when we fail with plan A, we still have a back up plan to work on and hope that it'll work the second time around.
But when plan A and plan B both fails, that's the time to practice our flexibility. Make some adjustments here and there, go with the flow for a while until you can stand again, then that's the time that you charge it all to experience and move on.
When all hope is gone, and you feel that you're at your lowest, you can always turn to God for the strength to overcome the loss of some of the good things.

yeah i do believe on the phrase of a song "some good things never lasts." we're in a world where change is the only permanent thing. We'll never know what happens next so we need to live life to the fullest, cherish the moments and value the people around us.

Have you ever seen the movie "The Outsiders"? There's a really good line in there that reminds me of your discussion "Nothing gold can stay..." It seems as if some things in your life that you come to love and depend on do come to an end. We have no control on some things.

Well,those things happen.Even if we stop it from happening,if it's God's will,we can't do anything about it.
