Yes, I absolutely love baking! I find I am always baking on a regular basis.. I also must admit that I have two favorite things that I like to bake & I can't pick one over thee other. So I have to mention both. The two things that I enjoy baking so much would have to be a mix between cookies, as well as cakes. I absolutely love baking cakes as there are so many different variety's that one can choose from. I know that I usually bake cakes for my other half as he takes them for lunch. Instead of us purchasing desserts from the store.. I find making my own tastes a lot better & you get more for your money at the same time I have found. Also.. I know that I personally love baking cakes with home-made frosting. I find there's nothing better than making your own frosting instead of buying the ones from the store. Though I must admit sometimes I will purchase the frosting from the stores though because it's more convenient. Sometimes I find by making my own home-made frosting that it ends up making the batter taste even better. I know that when I create my own frosting that in general it turns out to be an even more amazing finishing product. I also must admit that I love baking cookies the most though! I think it stems from my childhood as I remember always coming home to the smell of freshly baked home-made cookies. I used to always love baking them as a kid with my relatives & to this very day I still love baking cookies now that I am so much older on my own. Also I remember always getting so excited about getting to see my Grandma. As she always had cookies all baked when I'd come over to visit. I loved her cookies & how she always baked them when I was over.. I remember always pretending to help her when I knew in actuality that I was in the way. Now that I bake cookies on my own she loves mine even more than her own! haha. I know that I am always looking up new cookie recipes as I am always wanting to make something different. I think my favorite cookies to bake would have to be of course the famous chocolate chip cookies! I've always loved these cookies, even as a kid. And I always make my famous chocolate chip cookie recipe & every time I bake a dozen or more.. They won't even last more than two days! My other half is always bugging me to make them as well for him since he just loves them so much.. haha. I find they definitely help to satisfy my sweet tooth! I find cookies are an excellent thing to bake all year round. But for me there's always been something about the holidays that has made me want to bake cookies. I always love how when the holidays roll around I will always be baking new cakes or even cookies. I will even decorate them with special designs that relate to that specific holiday. In conclusion.. I think the reason as to why I enjoy baking these two desserts is because I find it so very relaxing. I love those days where it no one is at home.. And it is a nice, quiet, day. I find those days to be the perfect days for me to bake cookies, as well as cakes. I bake cookies quite often, it’s really therapeutic for me I have found. And I also usually pick recipes that are very versatile.. The reason for this is so that I can put any type of of spices, nuts, chocolate drops in. I love recipes that allow you to do this. Because even though you add new ingredients they still end up tasting rather delicious in thee end! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

i dont bake much but if i bake i like baking sponge cake, walnut cake, cookies . cookies are one of my fav. things.
