I quit!

you and me both edz. I ended up in the emergency room and ICU for 6 days then in regular room for 5 days. I smoked for many many years. I was taken to the emergency room Dec.27th and haven't smoked since. In the hospital after I got out of ICU I was given the patch but I decided not to use the patch when I got home so I did it cold turkey. My thinking with the patch was "why put the nicotine in my body and let it take weeks or months to work when I can just do it on my own". I found out that I was being charged $48.00 per patch per day!!!! If I had known that I would not have used the patch at all. I hope you continue to stay off cigs. At times I still have a craving, or a thought go through my head that I would love to have a cig but it passes pretty fast. My family don't smoke in the house any longer either which helps so much. lol, i hope you are not being late when taking this decision too. let me know the method you used to quit smoking as i am interested in doing that also. thanks.
