I know there is a lot of debating going on about this topic, but i just wanted to hear what different people from different countries have to say about the multicultural (people from different races and different religions living together) society. I want to hear how the situation is in your country, and what you think about it. Does it work, doesn't it work, is there tension, do you live together in harmony...?

I'm a proud Canadian living in the U.S and I have to say that in Canada it does work very nicely in comparison to the U.S...ppl in the States are VERY hung up on trying to get everyone and their mother to conform to their way of thinking when it comes to everythign from religion to sexuality and it just doesnt work! In Canada our differences are respected and often embraced which IMO is a huge reason why there isnt as much hatred and violence etc etc...
