In the present world situation more than ten nations posses neuclear power {weapons). Iran says it wants to develop neuclear knowledge for peacefull purposes. It is true that once a nation acquire the know how they can convert it for combat purposes. My doubt is what is the authority of the US to control other nations from acquiring neuclear technology while they keep the largest pile and most devastating weapons in the world. They have proved more than once that they are not reluctant to attack even civilians using weapons of mass destruction. We have seen them using these weapons in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Vietnam, Iraq and elsewhere. They are the real threat to world peace. The world should think about means to contain that monster of a nation.

Whether Iran makes nukes for power or peace is of no major concern to me. What I would like to know is why the UN would not go after the US - the only noted nation to have actually used WMD on another nation - and Russia (both yet to comply, after more than 30 years, with signed treaties on WMD) or Israel (which simply told the UN "no" on halting WMD). I think it is very hypocritical to demand that some nations disarm, when our noted world bullies would not disarm. I believe Iran, like North Korea or any Thinker, is also tired of the double standard! No, no, no! It will have to be one standard for every nation, or none whatsoever!

produce nuke for peace? I dont understand that, they are trying to produce nuclear weapons for their own benefits. They want to control the western world. I think the UN is doing what they can now to control Iran. Its better than going to war.
