My first name, Erin, means "peace" which turned out to be the biggest misnomer ever. I am not at peace with myself (at least not as I am right now), not a very quiet person, and am not a peacenik! =P However, most people know Erin as a poetic name for Ireland. I am part Irish, so from that perspective, it isn't too big of a misnomer. My middle name, Elizabeth, means "concecrated to God," and my last name, Grunewald is German for "green forest."

My first name is hard to find in standard name books but I have on rare occasions found it and it means "her life". My middle name is more common and means "reborn".
All of my children have at least one name that can be connected at least to the Bible if not actually Biblical.
