Why doesn't Microsoft Windows work?

Windows doesn't work properly (even legal versions, paid for with proper serial numbers)
It takes too long to start up, often goes unresponsive so I have to click and click on an icon to get a program to open
Explorer often says it has encountered a problem and needs to close - especially when it is browsing the Microsoft web pages!!
You'd think the MS website wouldn't crash Windows - its own baby!!
After about a year the whole OS becomes unstable and we have to reinstall it.
MS Word is just as bad (so many people keep getting the "xxxx.doc is in use by "your name" do you want to make a copy" message when they open a file)
and MS PowerPoint is plain ugly
Then there are the endless updates, security patches, and upgrades - and the long waits while the MS site searches for new updates for my computer
Well I don't want it to be "My computer"
Considering the cost of it, the size of the company Microsoft, the salaries they pay and how many years they've been messing about with Windows -
it is TRASH
Mac OS X is great, it works
Even Linux is better, it doesn't crash when it goes near Microsoft's web site
Windows XP
should be Windows P Off

I think you shoule to examine the compatibility of your hardware and software.Install a Anti-virus software and upgrade everyday. If your system is also unstable,go to an expert on computer for an professional opinion.
