Where's the best place to pray or God?

I've just started visiting Quiapo Church in a series of "church-hopping" or visita iglesia this Holy Week. People especially devotees flock the church and did their rituals such as approaching the altar while kneeling on the center aisle. Others prayed the rosary as they follow the stations of the cross.
It seems to me that people this week are too busy going to churches while others thought of the beach as the best place to relax and meditate with family and friends.
Those who cannot afford to leave the house for several reasons find no excuse in having no time for spiritual reflection.

There's no 'best place' for you to pray. You can pray anywhere you like as long as your heart's sincere. My sanctuary is my bedroom during the week coz' it's where I talk to God alone, it's where I worship Him, it's where I spend quality time with Him. On Sundays, of course I go to our church and that's where people gather together to worship God in Spirit and in truth. I do not show off myself to others while praying coz' it would be like you're just trying to prove something and you're saying that you're 'oh so righteous'. But i'm not.
Zelle, you can pray whenever and wherever you want, not just in Quiapo ;)

i guess you miss the point. I'm not telling you that Quiapo is the only place where I can worship God. The point is, it's my own ritual during HOly Week and it's not only Quiapo Church. I've been visiting several Churches all throughout this week. In a way, I want my trip to be likened to that of a pilgrim who seek spiritual strength despite physical exhaustion.
I have to admit that my question doesn't fit what I have just describe. I should have asked about your own rituals during the HOly week.

Actually I believe that anywhere is a perfect place as long as we are praying sincerely. I myself prefer to pray inside my room because I like talking to God as if He is just infront of me. I like going to church to pray when there are not many people as large crowds distract me.

i am a muslim,we can perform prayers(salah) everywhere on earth but facing towards ka'ba and a clean place are two conditions.however,if you are asking about pray(to ask from god),that also we can do any where in any position.as allah says in al-quran(2:186);
"and if my servants ask you about me-behold,i am near;i respond to the call of him who calls,whenever he calls unto me:let them,then,respond unto me,and believ in me so that they might follow the right way. "

I pray anywhere I want.Doesn't matter if im in private vehicle,in the church or in the house.I'm used to utter even just a simple prayer,a silent prayer.I love to pray if I'm alone cause I find solemnity in my prayers,that's the reason why I choose to go to church alone.

Prayer is not limited geographically. There are a lot of people who think that prayer can best be done in a quiet place, some prefer a soft, instrumental music in the background. But since prayer determines our relationship w/ God, it shouldn't only be done in what we deem a "suitable place". If we claim that we have a relationship w/ God, prayer should be constant regardless of where we are. The Bible says "Pray w/o ceasing" (1 Thes. 5:17), this tells us to pray no matter where we are, no matter what state we are in.

I believe no place is more special for prayers than your heart. You can go to the best spiritual places to say your prayers but if your heart's not in it,then what's the use of travelling all the way? I pray wherever and whenever I want to. And each time, I know my faith embraces me and it's all that matters.
