How do you discourage an unwanted suitor?

When you are a high school student and and your suitor wait for you at the front gate. You simply drag your friends and jump at your school fence. When he send you a love letter, let all your friends read it and make fun out of it and him. When he is around look at him from head to foot and way back up. Cruel huh? There's more, when he looks at you, be extra sweet to the nearest guy around. Therefore, you just let him know you are not interested in him through your actions.

why go through all that stuff when you can simply tell him you're not interested, and there is absolutely no chance you will ever be interested at all? i think it would be ridiculous to be jumping at your school fence just because you want to avoid the fellow. and if ever any of the school authorities would catch you doing such a thing, you bring your own self to a lot of trouble. If you're really not interested in him, you won't even be aware if he's looking at you or not. It would be best to tell the person what you really feel so that he will maintain respect for you even if he was turned down.

Just tell him face to face that you are not interested. Those actions you just suggested there, you seem to be playing hard to get. He can take it as you are interested but you are making him work for it. I think being straightforward is the best thing. That way both parties have a clear message. I suppose if he's still trying, well....that's his problem. You can just ignore him.
