LOL i would say that when you are too absorbed in surfing the web/chatting/posting discussion until you neglect your bf, then that's too much! I dont have much problem, cos my bf surf the web as much as I do too. What we normally do is that, every 1 hour, just walk over and give each other a hug and a kiss then ran over to continue surfing!

how much is too much? when someone's already complaining, that's a good, common gauge :)

to much time is when you start neglecting other things that need to be done or the people you love. I try not to spend time on the computer when my family is home or after they have all gone to bed. Are you neglecting your boyfriend when he is around or when you could be spending time with him? How much time are you spending on the computer? What are you using the computer for? I am only on a site if I am able to make money from it or when I have time to myself. Do you think you are on the computer to much?

I think that more then a couple hours a day is too much. And not all at the same time But here and there.

Previously when the computer was quite new to me i thought that spending three hours was too much of a time but as days wen by and i started spending three hours on an average on the computer i no more find that it is pretty long time. Now i have changed that limit to 6 hours and more per day. Anybody who spends more than that is spending too much time on the computer.

I think its too much when you consume all your time infront of the computer and dont bother about the people that surrounds you, if your partner is complaining now then maybe that is too much. It means that you are not giving them the time that they needed. Its time to manage your time between the family and the computer.

It's hard to tag a specific time, as different individual have different level of tolerance.
However, it will definitely be too much if you start neglecting people around you, have no time to socialise, neglect your work, and worse your own health.

I think when it starts to take away from your 'family' time it becomes too much. It's fine once in a while or when nobody's around but if you're doing the computer more than you're spending time with the ones you love it's become an addiction! Don't let it ruin your real life!

As much time until you become tired is not a much time. Though if you spend at least 8 hours each day is too much time. Your boyfriend think you are not willing to give him much time than the time you are giving to your computer. Once you can satisfy your boyfriend giving much time he will not blame you again, so cut some computer-time and add it with our boyfriend-time.

My fiancee probably thinks the same thing..but never says anything about it. I am addicted to the computer and couldnt live without it. But I dont think I let it control my life. I spend most of the afternoon on the computer and then I get on again at night until 3-4am.
