Relationship with father

My relationship with my father? Many times i tried to have one but he always blows it up, all what he does and he says are lies and lies and tricks. We wasn't besides me when I need him, many promises made by him are broken, many lies and tricks he has made. There were moments when I thought that he has changed in a good person (a real dad) and guess what at the end I found out that he is a good actor. He is not and will never be in my life and it's all his fault. The reason: all his acts and absents in my life made him a total stranger to me. With him it's just a waste of time to try and have a father and son relationship...and useless. Still I have to talk with him when he calls. Can't wait to cut all the connections with him so that he will see what mistakes he has done. It's too late for him to fix all the problems he made.

Pride. My dad has a lot of pride. I dont' think any of my siblings and me get along with my dad at all. He has the tendency to believe unrelated people more than his own family. I've never seen him try to understand a problem before putting in his say. I've yet to see him make an apology if he made a mistake or did something wrong. The worst confrontation I had with him was last yr. I was moving away to study abroad. He was making unreasonable demands on me regarding choice of housing. We argued for a month. When I got to the new country, I still haven't got a proper place to stay. A friend put me up for a couple of weeks. My dad finally let up on interferring with my life when he realised his actions were going to put me on the streets. I found a place in no time after that. I'm still living in the place without any troubles.
