What is the best way to takecare of new ear piercing?

I just got my ears done. The don't tell me what to do or how to take care of it. I also got my belly done to so if you know anyhting about it can you help me out and tell me what i need to do.

Above anything else, keep the piercings clean! There is are cleansing solutions, usually available at reputable piercing places, that will help clean, disinfect, and speed the healing of piercings.
Also, at least with the earrings (not sure about the bellybutton), TURN the earrings - take ahold of the earring and spin it in the hole - or the earlobe will grow around the earring. I have seen this happen (on my daughter) and it was NOT pretty! It was also very painful to correct.

Put some Betadine to the pierced area for faster healing of the wound, and also avoid sitting too much if u got your belly pierced. It hurts a lot.
