i've seen the movie..lots of times, actually,..but i haven't done much reading about the it. i think mel gibson and the people behind this film have done some extensive research in order to for them to come up with such a great film. i found it to be a must-see movie for so many reasons. i'm just intrigued as to who those actors/actresses were.. were they really people who were members of some tribe? if they were, how were they convinced to act in this film? where did they film it? was the tribal language real, or was it made specially for the film? i've got a handful of questions... anybody done their homework??

Type it into your browser and choose the Wikepedia choice and you will soon know everything you want to know. The research could've been as simple as reading Aztec by Gary Jennings. There is a whole series there, but Aztec is the first of the series and the best book I've ever read. (Pillars of the earth is right up there too, though, by Ken Follett)
