My ideal ticket for '08 would be Guiliani (Republican) and Rendell (Democrat). Both have proven track records for lowering crime, increasing revenue and getting things done. However...they are from different parties (Guiliani is a Republican, Rendell is the Democratic governor from Pennsylvania). I am a registered Democrat, but of all of the candidates, Guiliani represents views similar to mine and I will cross party lines to vote for the best candidate. I really don't care for any other candidates this year. So who would make your ideal ticket?

He or She must be strong, respected by the American people and the world. I like Guiliani too

I don't know who wouldn't like him--I think the whole brouhaha over his alleged rift with his kids was a way for his detractors to try to gain a foothold into his lead. And goodness knows, ANYONE would be better than Bush at this point.

I like him for the strength he displayed during the attacks on the World Trade Centers--he really unified the city and helped them to heal during that difficult time. I am SO happy that he's now the front runner for the Republicans.
