Shopping for us girls is one of our HOBBIES!(that's SOoo true) BUt should we go for Quality or Quantity???? Lets say, we buy Expensive pair of Shoes in a mall, others prefers much cheaper brands and can buy atleast 2-3pairs of shoes instead... Do you go for Quality than Quantity? w/c do you prefer???? Which is more practical?

In theory we should choose quality over quantity but in reality people more often choose quantity. Quality, to me, is far more practical. Why buy five pairs that will last a few months each when you can buy one pair that will last you a life time. We never know what the future will hold for us. I think the reason that America has it's problems is because we're looking for the quick fix. Also, many people are to poor to afford quality. Now remember, quality isn't just name brands and crap like that. It's a well made, the most luxurious of it's kind where is quantity is awhole bunch of cheap crap you buy exactly because it's cheap. Best to save your $ and buy some quality.

Hi! Welcome to myLot! To answer your discussion, in my case, it depends. When I'm feeling rich (hehe -- which means I can afford to spend more, like after salary day), I would buy one item which is very expensive, like branded shoes or bag, or even gold jewelry. That way, I won't feel sorry that I only bought one item, anyway, it's worth it. When I'm kind of tight financially, it makes me feel better to buy more items but individually cheaper. I would then have the feeling that I was able to buy more for less. Happy myLotting!

Well, if by quality you mean brand names, I am not really into that. I just buy what I think looks nice, and I am into bargains and deals. I dont like to spend a lot of money on clothes and shoes. Brand names arent my thing. If I find something I like that just happens to have a brand name on it, then I guess that is a plus, but I dont discriminate based on the name that is on the clothing. I'd rather have a few shirts that are pretty and nice, than one shirt that has a certain name on it.

I go for Quality. I good pair of quality shoes can last a few yrs. Cheap shoes lasts a few months only.
Concerning practicality. I think about how much time I have to spend on my feet. What kind of terrain am I walking on usually. I'm a student and I walk around everyday. Currently I own 1 pair of sport shoes and 1 pair of boots (winter wear). They go very well with jeans. I can use them out. Additionally I use the sport shoes during sports and if i wear skirts, I use the boots.
If walking wasn't an issue, I would buy some heels too. Something that look good during a casual dinner party as well as is acceptable enough to wear to work with.
